1. Introduction

SEND.dance ("we", "us", "our") operates the send.dance platform (the "Platform"). This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our services.

2. Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account data (username, display name, email address, date of birth)
• Profile content (bio, avatar, submitted video entries)
• Payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store raw card data)
• Wallet addresses (optional, for on-chain rewards)
• Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
• Usage data (votes cast, contests entered, interactions with the Platform)

3. How We Use Data

We use collected data to:

• Operate and improve the Platform
• Process contest entries, votes, and prize payouts
• Send transactional emails (account confirmations, contest updates)
• Comply with legal obligations
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising profiling.

4. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy)
• Infrastructure providers — hosting and database services under data-processing agreements
• Law enforcement — when required by applicable law

5. Information About Minors

This section covers dancers aged 14–17 and their parents or legal guardians.

For minor accounts we collect account data (name, email, date of birth, profile content) plus the parent/guardian email and the consent record (timestamp, IP address, and user-agent of the approving device).

• EU/EEA: For dancers under 16, parental consent (GDPR Article 8) is the legal basis. Our email consent flow records that consent.
• UK: UK GDPR applies. The age of digital consent is 13; our 14+ floor with parental consent for 14–17 adds further safeguards.
• US (COPPA): We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The minimum age of 14 is above the COPPA threshold. Discovered under-13 accounts are deleted and their data purged.

Minor data is used solely to operate the platform and contests. We do not sell or share minor data for advertising or profiling. A parent or guardian may at any time request access to their child's data, request deletion (by replying to the consent email or using the Remove Account link), or withdraw consent (which suspends the account). On deletion, the minimum legally required financial records are retained and all other personal data is deleted within 30 days.

6. Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we purge personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@adsplus.agency.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Notice periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
